Children’s Choir presents final concert
RONAN — Mission Valley Children’s Choir will present its final concert of its first year on Monday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ronan Performing Arts Center. The Ronan Adult Education Choir will join the children’s choir at the concert. Cathy Gillhouse directs both choirs. The adult choir is accompanied by Wendy Sanders and the children’s choir is also directed by Seth Nelson and accompanied by Robyn Carlson. The concert is free of charge.
City Council meets
RONAN — The Ronan City Council meets at Ronan City Hall from 6-7 p.m. on March 7.

NARFE to meet
RONAN — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees, meeting scheduled for March 9 at noon is changed from Ronan Cafe (closed, under construction) to the Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan. After lunch there will be a program featuring Dean Greiner discussing his military experiences during World War II. Following his presentation there will be a brief business meeting.

Woman’s Club holds Flea Market, Craft Show
RONAN — GFWC Ronan Woman’s Club annual Flea Market and Craft Show is Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. There will be a silent auction with many items to bid on; Indian tacos, soup and sandwiches for lunch; and vendors from all over the state. This is a wonderful way to spend your Saturday, shopping for local products and good food. To reserve a table, contact Alice Gleason at 406-676-5079.

‘The Princess Bride’ to be performed in Ronan
RONAN — “The Princess Bride” is going to be performed onstage on March 15 and 16 in the Ronan Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. both nights.
The play is based on the 1987 film and book by William Goldman and includes scaling the cliffs of insanity, battling rodents of unusual size, facing torture in the Pit of Despair. True love has never been a snap. Come see this classic story of love, adventure, and humor.
There is no charge but a canned good donation is suggested. Collected canned goods will be donated to the Ronan Bread Basket.

Families welcome to explore science
RONAN — Ronan PTA and K. William Harvey School will bring spectrum Discovery Area Best of Show and community exhibits to the Ronan Event Center on Thursday, March 17, from 5-7 p.m. This is a free family event, featuring hands-on exhibits and activities. The Event Center will be transformed into a powerful science learning center that helps inspire Montana’s next generation of scientists, health care providers, engineers and visionaries.

RONAN — O’Ronan’s 27th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Thursday, March 17, at 5:30 p.m. You can “Float - Drive - Walk – Ride” in the parade down Main Street and share in over a quarter center of blarney and debauchery. All entries must line up west of St. Luke Hospital at 5:15 p.m. Everyone is Irish on St. Paddy’s Day. For more information, call Carlene at 406-676-0646.
