Quilt guild to meet
The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will hold their regular monthly meeting at the Terrace Lake Community Church on Terrace Lake Road, on Feb. 4th at 6:30 p.m. Robin will hand out the next step for the educational block of the month. Please be working on your challenge projects and items for the Country Store during the quilt show. Bring your show 'n' tell! The Thursday Quilters will furnish refreshments. See you there, everyone's welcome!
Weed specialist to speak at horsemen’s meeting
RONAN — The February meeting of the Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will be held, Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the V.F.W. Hall on Round Butte Road. The program this month will be offered by Kelsey Guffey, weed specialist. As usual, it should be very informative and interesting. Plans are already in the works for our annual ‘Steak Ride’ in May, plus we have several projects planned for the up-coming spring/summer. Guests are always welcome. Talented pianist to perform in Ronan
RONAN — At 7:30 PM on Thursday, Feb. 13, Big Productions, a fundraising venture of the Lake County Youth Home, will present jazz pianist Pam Drews Phillips in concert playing a wide variety of piano styles and plays classical, Broadway, New Age, and pop.
The special performance will be at the Ronan Performing Arts Center in the Ronan Middle School complex.
Tickets are available in Ronan at Hanson and Granley True Value and in Polson at Shannon Nunlist Physical Therapy or The Terrace Flowers and Gifts. In St. Ignatius, contact Suzie at Mission Valley Properties for tickets. Single tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. All youth under 18 are admitted free. A ticket-holding adult must accompany children under 12. The concert is co-sponsored by Bishop Insurance.
