High school winter sports fundraiser held in Ronan
RONAN — On Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 5 p.m., a “Taco Tuesday” dinner and silent auction fundraiser will be held at the Ronan Event Center along with an “Orange and Black Basketball Scrimmage.” Games begin at 6 p.m. The $1 taco feed begins with a team challenge and a community challenge of who can eat the most $1 tacos per individual team. Sign up your team of five as soon as possible with Lucky Larson by calling 406-676-3390 X 7423. Donated items are needed for the auction and may be dropped off at Ronan High School office by Monday, Dec. 2. Monies raised help pay for meals while traveling on away games and meets. Horsemen to elect officers
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will have their next monthly meeting on Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ronan VFW on Round Butte Rd. We will elect officers for 2020 and discussing our December Christmas party. Hope to see you there.
Quilters celebrate Christmas with potluck
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will have their Christmas pot luck dinner and ornament class on Tuesday, Dec. 3. We will start with the quilt class at 2:30 p.m. and then have dinner and regular meeting at 6 p.m. at the Terrace Lake Community Church. They ask that people with a last name beginning with A-M to bring desserts, and N-Z to bring salads or fruit. Please bring three items for the food basket drive. Everyone is welcome to come join the fun and meet new friends. Don’t forget your show-and-tell and if you haven’t brought your fat-quarters for the 2020 quilt show they are asking for ones with flowers to go with the “In Full Bloom" theme.

Children’s choir presents Christmas concert
RONAN — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir will present its Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW. The concert is free to the public.
