Celebrate local food, support LCCDC
RONAN — A celebration of local foods will take place at Mission Mountain Golf Club on Sept. 19 from 6-10 p.m. This classy-country, family-friendly event is a fundraiser to support Lake County Community Development Corporation. Ronan Library closed for Harvest Fest
RONAN – The Ronan library will be closed on Sept. 19 in order to host a booth at Harvest Festival. At the booth, people signing up for a new library card or updating their information will receive a small prize. Books will be offered for a voluntary donation. Stop by and say hello.

Join all-class reunion discussion for RHS
RONAN — There will be an organizational meeting for a possible Ronan High School all-class reunion on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. The reunion would be held in conjunction with Ronan’s 100th graduating class this spring.
New choir meets Wednesdays
RONAN — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir, directed by Cathy Gillhouse and Pastor Seth Nelson, meets from 4-5 p.m. every Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW.

Help RHS at Take the Wheel benefit
RONAN — Don Aadsen Ford is holding a test drive event to benefit Ronan High School on Oct. 2. For every test drive taken, Don Aadsen Ford will donate $20 to the local high school of your choice, up to $6,000. RHS is hoping to raise the full amount. This event takes place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 2.
