Free screening done at annual Child Find
RONAN — Mark your calendars for our annual fall Child Find event on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. This free screening will be held at the K. William Harvey Elementary School in the preschool classroom from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Children ages birth to five years old, who live in the Ronan/Pablo School District will be screened. Make your appointments by calling Janet at 406-676-3390 ext. 7450.
Quilters offer classes
RONAN –Mission Mountain Quilt Guild meets at the Terrace Lake Community Church, (formerly the Alliance Church), in Ronan, on Terrace Lake Road.
There are classes scheduled on Sept. 18 and 19 with Monique. If you have questions, call Kay Krantz at 406-745-4575 or 406-544-2084. Don’t forget to bring your show and tell. Everyone is welcome and we will see you there. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. or so. We look forward to a good year of sewing, learning, and fellowship.

Celebrate local food, support LCCDC
RONAN — A celebration of local foods will take place at Mission Mountain Golf Club on Sept. 19 from 6-10 p.m. This classy-country, family-friendly event is a fundraiser to support Lake County Community Development Corporation. Corporate table tickets are $1,000, individual tickets are $50 and children 2-12 years old are $25. Call 406-676-5901 for more information.
Ronan hosts annual Harvest Festival
RONAN — Come to Ronan’s seventh annual Harvest Festival to be held at Glacier Bank (was Community Bank) parking lot and Ronan City Park from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Call the Ronan Chamber at 406-676-8300, for more information.
Ronan Library closed for Harvest Fest
RONAN – The Ronan library will be closed on Sept. 19 in order to host a booth at Harvest Festival. At the booth, people signing up for a new library card or updating their information will receive a small prize. Books will be offered for a voluntary donation. Stop by and say hello.

Join all-class reunion discussion for RHS
RONAN — There will be an organizational meeting for a possible Ronan High School all-class reunion on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. The reunion would be held in conjunction with Ronan’s 100th graduating class this spring.
New choir meets Wednesdays
RONAN — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir, directed by Cathy Gillhouse and Pastor Seth Nelson, meets from 4-5 p.m. every Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW.
The choir is learning show tunes, patriotic songs, multi-cultural songs, spirituals and American folk songs. All Mission Valley children in grades 3-7 are invited to participate. Call 406-207-3036 or email at gill4748@hotmail.com, for more information.
