POLSON — Flathead Lake Cheese is having an Open House Saturday, July 5, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be tours, tastings, sales and everything you ever wanted to know about cheese making and solar thermal heat. POLSON — The Polson Rural Fire District trustees monthly meeting is Wednesday, July 9, at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Station. All residents of the Polson Rural Fire District and interested general public are encouraged to attend. Any member of the public wishing to submit items for board review/consideration needs to submit them to the board clerk at least ten days in advance of the meeting. POLSON — North Lake County Public Library family summer reading program weekly activities are on Thursday at 10 a.m. for school age children accompanied by an adult. “Volcanoes Part I” will include building with paper mache.
Port Polson Players present Amelia Earhart story July 10-20
POLSON — The Port Polson Players will present “Amelia Earhart, an Unsolved Mystery,” July 10-20 at Polson’s beautiful theatre on the Lake. Curtain time is 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $16 for adults and $15 for senior citizens and students. Program to feature early motorcycling

Bible school promises three days of fun
POLSON — The Polson Alliance Church, 46873 US Hwy 93, will hold a vacation bible school on July 15-17 from 9 a.m.-noon. Register for Polson’s Mud Run to benefit Boys’ and Girls’ Club
POLSON — Go to the Polson Fairgrounds and join the first wave of racers at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 19. This is the Boys’ and Girls’ Club second annual Mud Run. Register before July 15: $35 for adults, 15 for youngsters 12 and under. Race day registration is: $40 for adults and $20 for youngsters 12 and under. You must pre-register to be guaranteed a shirt size. The 5K course is for adults and super brave kids. The 1-mile course is for kids and less inclined adults.
