POLSON — Support the community dance and don’t miss the opportunity to dance to Heart to Heart. They play great tunes and tempos. June 10 we will celebrate Hawaiian songs and dances. Grab some friends and be at the Elks on 6th and Main Street at 7 p.m. We dance until 10 p.m. and everyone is welcome. Weekly treats have been wonderful.

POLSON – Plan to attend the Parents as Teachers Playgroup at the Lake County Health Department in Polson on Wednesday, June 10, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. On June 10 we will make personalized “roller toys” to encourage babies to crawl. Print out photos of your child and bring them with you or bring a camera with photos and we will print them out for you. Give us a call at 406-883-7288, if you have questions. POLSON — Partners In Home Care and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center will host a six-week bereavement support group for adults grieving the death of a loved one. It is recommended that participants wait at least two months after a death before attending a group. This group is free and open to the public Wednesdays, June 10-July 15, from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Owens Conference room at St. Joseph Medical Center. Registration is required by June 5. POLSON — The Masumola Club will hold its final meeting before summer on June 11. All are welcome to attend the non-profit social organization meetings each Tuesday from September through June.  Membership is open to anyone who wants to join. POLSON – On Thursday, June 11, local award-winning writer Carmine Margo Mowbray will share her new work of historical fiction, “Havoc Red – Surviving the Alaska-Siberia Route, 1943,” at the Miracle of America Museum. This novel is set among the Army Air Force’s Seventh Ferrying Group that flew nearly 8,000 fighters and bombers from Great Falls to Fairbanks where Russians flew them on to the front. Mowbray will autograph copies of her book and is offering a discounted price of $15 with $5 of each sale going to the Museum. Treats and donations are welcome. POLSON — The Polson Rural Fire Board meeting will be held on Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Station. The meeting date change for June is due to scheduling conflicts.

POLSON — The June Friendship Table Dinner is on June 12 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Polson Presbyterian Church located across from Linderman Elementary School. Come join us. This dinner is free and open to all.

POLSON – Mission Valley Speedway will have a race on Saturday, June 13, starting at 7 p.m., with late models, hobby stocks, and 4-cylinders. 

POLSON — The EAA chapter 1122 will be giving free airplane rides (weather permitting) for kids, (Young Eagles), ages 8-17 at the Polson airport on Saturday, June 13, from 9-11 a.m. A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign up their child.

POLSON – Come support and watch the Mission Valley Mariners at O’Malley Field in Polson on June 16 at 4 p.m. against the Glacier Twins.

POLSON – Ken’s Country Combo will play at the Community Dance on Wednesday, June 17, at the Elks. The band has a new bass player and a new look. Come check them out. Bring a friend or two and join us from 7-10 p.m. Please bring a treat to share.

POLSON — On Wednesday, June 17, come join a Community Circle with discussion of The Four Agreements from 7:15-8:30 p.m. at the Co-op, 401 Main Street. Pizza will be served.

POLSON — Sonwest Roundup Vacation Bible School at Polson Alliance Church will have fun with games, crafts, songs, and more, all while learning about Christ in this western themed VBS. POLSON – Join Anderson Broadcasting as they celebrate their 40th anniversary on June 18 by hosting SPLASH from 5-7 p.m. at 36581 Reservoir Rd.

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library weekly activities are on Thursday at 10 a.m. for school-age children. June 18 is “Outdoor game day.”

POLSON — The Polson Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Chamber Blast” will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Big Sky Sporting Clays. 

The event will start will a quick beginner’s shooting clinic, followed by a shooter’s safety briefing prior to the Sporting Clays Tournament. There will be a barbecue lunch and awards ceremony from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

POLSON — Enjoy music by Andre Floyd at the June 20 Benefit Concert at the Montana Co-Op, 401 N. Main Street, from 5-7 p.m. A $5 donation is requested at the door. 

POLSON — Food and western fun is waiting for everyone who comes to the Family Fun Festival on June 20. Come enjoy the Family Fun Festival at Polson Alliance Church from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be old-fashioned games, big toys, horse-drawn wagon rides, a barbecue, Indian tacos, and more.
