Dementia Friendly Programming introduced
POLSON - The North Lake County Public Library will present an introduction to the library’s Dementia Friendly Programming on April 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room.
There will be a demonstration of the new Lucynt Magic Table, show n’ tell of new resources that support the aging journey, comraderie and snacks.
MT Co-Lab for Civic Imagination brings ‘State of Mind’ to Polson
POLSON - The University of Montana’s Co-Lab for Civic Imagination brings its exciting theatre program, State of Mind, to Polson on April 9.
State of Mind is a unique and engaging theatre and public dialogue event that is touring to over twenty (primarily rural) Montana communities from Sept. 2024 to May 2026.
The project consists of a free theatre performance for the general public on April 9, at 6:30 p.m., at the Polson High School Library, with workshops taking place there earlier in the day. The workshops will inspire a portion of the performance, ensuring that Polson’s residents’ voices and ideas are a part of the performance

Cherry Valley Kindergarten Roundup planned
POLSON — Students turning 5 on or before Sept. 10, 2025, can register for the ‘25/‘26 kindergarten year at Cherry Valley Elementary from 4-7 p.m. on April 10 or from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. Bring guardian ID, proof of Polson residency, child’s birth certificate, child’s vaccination record and Tribal paperwork if applicable.
Italian dinner served at Masumola Club

POLSON - Polson Library’s kindergarten readiness program for 3-5 year olds includes stories, songs and crafts and takes place every Thursday and Saturday at 2 p.m. Go to the library website for theme announcements.
Public ‘State of Mind’ at library
POLSON - State of Mind visits North Lake County Public Library on April 10 at 8:30 a.m. for a community meeting. This will be an opportunity for people to reflect on the workshops and performances, and to discuss potential action and engagement around mental health in Polson.

Game Club held at library
POLSON - Middle and high school students are invited to the Polson library every second Friday of the month for Game Club, where you can laugh and play with friends. Doors open at 4 p.m.
Pachyderms to meet
POLSON - Lake County Pachyderm will meet on Friday, April 11, at noon. Guest speaker will be Montana District Judge Molly Owen. Molly will speak about the 20th Judicial Court Adult Treatment Court and the mental health crisis we are currently facing. The meeting will be held at the Polson Rural Fire Station located at 25 Regatta Road.
Pre-K Round Up held at Cherry Valley
POLSON — Students turning 4 on or before Sept. 10, 2005, can register for Pre-K (LEAP) on Thursday, April 10 from 4-7 p.m. or Friday, April 11, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Call 406-883-6333 to schedule an appointment. There are only 30 spots available. Bring guardian ID, proof of Polson residency, child’s birth certificate, child’s vaccination record and Tribal paperwork if applicable.

Register for AARP Driver Safety course
POLSON - The Polson Library will host the AARP Driver Safety course on Tuesday, April 15, from 1-5 p.m. No exams and you may be eligible for an auto insurance discount. Class materials are $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members. To register call 406-883-9225.

Navgating the Road to Life Transition Fair
POLSON - Navigating the Road to Life Transition Fair will be held on Thursday, April 17, at the Polson Boys and Girls Club from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fair aims to connect individuals with disabilities, their guardians or caretakers and the agencies that provide services and support.
