Free CPR classes offered through Feb. 27
POLSON — February is Heart Health Month and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is celebrating with free CPR classes. The classes are every Saturday in February from 9-11 a.m. and again from 1-3 p.m. in the Grandview lobby, west of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, #6 Thirteenth Ave. E. Free grief support group offered through March 31
POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is offering a free Bereavement Support Group, an eight-week series for adults grieving the death of a loved one. The group includes education about grief and loss and provides participants an opportunity to share their experiences. It is recommended that participants wait at least two months after a death before attending a group. This group is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.
The group will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. each Thursday, Feb. 11- March 31, in the O’Malley conference room on the second floor of

Heart screenings offered through Feb. 29
POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is celebrating Heart Health Month during February with heart screenings for $49. Please do not eat or drink anything for 10 hours before the test. No appointments necessary. Please check in at the front desk. The center is also offering baseline EKGs for only $30. Please call 406-883-8453 to schedule your EKG appointment. These tests are offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7-10 a.m. through February at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, 6 Thirteenth Ave. E.
New exhibit shown at Sandpiper through April 1
POLSON — The art exhibit, Totally Fowl, features the works of Lynn Johnson – felting; Donna Miller – jewelry; Julie Christopher – sculpter/painter; Susie McNatt – photographer; and invited artist Alex Wright – multimedia; plus a special display from Viola Deputy, a memorial exhibit. The show runs through April 1.

Lipscomb to speak about dam acquisition
POLSON — The Polson Kiwanis Club meet the first and third Thursday each month at KwaTaqNuk Resort, Koostatah room from noon-1 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Our speaker on March 3 will be Brian Lipscomb, the CEO of Energy Keepers, who was the lead person in the acquisition of the Kerr Dam. He will speak about the dam transition and where we are today.

Free Zen Meditation Class offered
POLSON — A special Introduction to Zen Meditation Class is being offered at the YogaHeart Studio, 314 Main Street, on Wednesday, March 9, at 7 p.m.

‘Treasure State-part 2’ on tap at library
POLSON — North Lake County Library’s Storytime program includes stories, songs, movement, crafts and more. St. Pat’s Day celebrate at Masumola Club
POLSON —Join your friends and neighbors for St. Pat’s Day this Thursday, March 10, at the Masumola Club. The ShamRockers will entertain and hosts Stephanie and Don Clement, Steve and Brenda Olsen and Carmine Mowbray are providing corned beef and cabbage. We need folks to fill in with vegetables (especially the traditional carrots and potatoes,) salads and desserts. Food distribution: A – H dessert, I – O salad or vegetable, P – Z hot dish.
