Grab opportunity to fly
POLSON — The Lake County Chapter 1122 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will be hosting Young Eagles Flights at Polson Airport on Saturday morning, October 12, from 9-11 a.m. All kids between the ages of 8 and 17 years of age, with their parents’ approval, can get a ride in an airplane free. Coffee, donuts, and juice will be available. All of this is weather dependent. Kids, grab your parents (or parents grab your kids) and come on out to the Polson airport Saturday morning and the EAA will give you an opportunity to go flying.

Community dance on tap
POLSON — On Wednesday, Oct. 23, Heart to Heart will play at the Elks from 7-10 p.m. They will also be playing for the fifth dance of the month, our Halloween celebration on Oct. 30. There will be a prize for the best costume so dress-up if you like. Treats are awesome and wonderful. Join us, for you will be missed if you don’t.

Baptist Church to serve free sloppy Joes
POLSON — Fellowship Baptist Church, 2 Seventh Ave. E., will serve a free community dinner of sloppy Joes, salads, and desserts on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Lutheran Church prepares harvest dinner
POLSON — The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will hold its annual Harvest Dinner of Swedish meatballs, potatoes, gravy, lefse, salad and dessert from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, in the church fellowship hall. The cost for the dinner is $9 per adult, $4 per child under 10 years. Fair trade coffee will also be available for purchase. Dinner proceeds will benefit The Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry.
Swedish meatball dinner to benefit local groups
POLSON — Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be holding their annual Harvest Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 4:30-7 p.m. with the proceeds to benefit the local Boys and Girls Club and Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry. They will serve Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, salads, lefse, rolls, dessert and a beverage for $9 for adults and $4 for children under 10.
