Tribal Social Services to host family forum
PABLO —The Tribal Social Services Department and SKC Community Health and Development is hosting a family forum for all community members from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the SKC Joe McDonald Gymnasium on Saturday, April 27. The forum includes free family portraits, free lunch, free childcare, resources, gifts and educational presentations.
The theme for the forum is “Family Structures Impact Child Development” and it is to encourage community members to build relationships with each other and service providers in our community. Community members will have a chance to receive educational presentations and learn about the resources and events in their community that benefit families.

Join fifth annual community Earth Day celebration
PABLO — Walkers, bikers, runners and rollers are invited to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., along Highway 93/pedestrian path in Ronan, Pablo and Polson. There will be checkpoints along the way to get your passports and stamps. Receive four stamps on your passport and you get a delicious “Made in Montana” lunch. A bike safety course, bike maintenance and lunch all culminate at the Joe McDonald Activity Center on SKC campus.
Checkpoint stations will provide healthy information and a variety of giveaways. Parking available at Baptiste Road, SKC Event Center or the Transfer Station on Minesinger Road. Student organization to hold first SKC Powwow
PABLO — The SKC Spirit of the Bison Student Organization will host the first annual SKC Powwow on May 10-11, with Grand Entries starting at 7:30 p.m. Friday night and continuing Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. in the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center in Pablo.
