Arlee School holds cultural activities day
ARLEE — The Arlee School will host a K-12 American Indian Cultural Activities Day on May 15. Some of the activities that student/staff will participate in include: stick game, shinny, double ball, La Crosse and other Native American games. Guest speakers/presenters will share their cultural knowledge and skills with the students..
A social powwow will be held in the afternoon in the new gym from 1:30-3 p.m. The school extends an invitation to the people to come and join us. We are in need of dancers for the powwow. If you have any questions, please contact Willie Wright at (406) 725-3216 ext. 2310.

Help spur cancer out of Montana
ARLEE — The second annual rough stock rodeo and barrel race is Saturday, May 25, (rodeo at 5 p.m., gates open at 4 p.m.), and Sunday, May 26, (office opens for barrel race at 9 a.m.; time onlys start at 10 a.m.; and runs start at noon).
All proceeds benefit Spur the Cancer out of Montana, a nonprofit that helps Montana families with medical expenses. For more information, go to www.spurthecancer.com.
