RONAN — More than 30 cars faced off Saturday on the Community Bank lawn for the Ronan Pioneer Days annual car show.
A red and white mini-me toy car held its own against a matching 1955 Crown Victoria owned by Marvin and Marie Taber of Whitefish.
A similar-colored cherry red ’57 Thunderbird also graced the grass, thanks to George Marken of Polson. Other colorful vintage vehicles provided a nostalgic glimpse into the past while sweet rides of the current age provoked some envy.
Owners lounged in the shade and let their vehicles take center stage as visitors perused the entries and voted for their favorite.
The top ten cars, chosen in random order, are owned by Lawrence Magnus, Brad Taber, Miles Hackman, Marvin Taber, Richard Tobol, Larry Cordis, Toni Wock, Tim Arneson, Ron Otto and George Marken.
