ARLEE — A 26-year-old Arlee man died in a single vehicle crash that occurred 1.5 miles south of Arlee on July 12.
Dakota William Charles Lafley was in a 1994 Ford Ranger when it rolled over on Jocko Road shortly after noon and ejected at least one of its occupants, Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant Randal Owens said.
Lafley was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother, Stacey TwoTeeth, 47, of Missoula, was airlifted to St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula where she was in critical condition as of Monday.
Owens said it was unclear who was driving the vehicle, if seatbelts were worn, or what caused the wreck.
Alcohol is being investigated as a possible cause of the crash.
