News from the Arlee CDC
ARLEE — The Arlee Community Development Corporation will host an outdoor fundraiser concert on Friday, July 11 with music by Montana’s own Sho-Down at its new outdoor stage in the parking lot of Hangin Art Gallery on Highway 93 in downtown Arlee. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. and the concert and dancing is from 7-10 p.m.
From humble beginnings, Sho-Down, “a band that makes you get up and dance,” has matured into one of the best bands in Montana with its diverse play list and style that blends bluegrass, Western swing, traditional and modern country, and 70’s/80’s and 90’s rock-n-roll. They have performed with Blake Shelton, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Mark Wills, David Kirsh, Chad Brock, Darryl Singletary and Rhett Atkins.
Proceeds from this fundraiser concert will help defray material costs for the new outdoor stage and support community development projects in the Valley. The Arlee CDC has been providing community development services to the Jocko Valley since 2002.
