Three Ronan basketball courts saw hoops action Friday and Saturday as 42 teams from across Montana descended on Ronan for the 21st edition of the Mission Valley Basketball Tournament. Players on the 5-on-5 teams fought in half-court games throughout the event, including Ronan’s Cedric Earthboy, shown battling a Bigfork player. Each varsity team played five games, but not in a format that would declare a champion, according to organizer Gale Decker. Columbia Falls varsity girls and boys teams both finished undefeated, as did Bigfork varsity boys.
