Murdoch’s grand opening Thursday, June 5 was heralded with a ribbon cutting, flag raising, posting of colors by local honor guards and the Veteran Warrior Society, an honor song sung by drum group Chief Cliff, the National Anthem sung by veteran Charlene Crenshaw, and an angel’s prayer and blessing offered by Salish tribal elder Francis Stanger.
