POLSON — School ended for Polson kids on June 13, but the two weeks leading up to that date were busy ones for students.
Field trips to a nursery, Glacier National Park, the National Bison Range, picnic lunches in the park, Art in the Backyard, awards, field days for each grade with races and games and even a second grade play called “Cinder Elly.”
Between cleaning desks, stacking textbooks, taking home art projects and enjoying popsicles in the sun, students could hear the siren song of summer beckoning and savored the last few, fun days of school.
