ARLEE — A hearty “thank you” goes out to the Lake County voters who passed the mill levy for the senior services program’s funding. Your support for these much needed programs is greatly appreciated by all senior citizens and their families.
The Arlee Senior Center is looking for a cook’s helper to fill-in for summer vacation and to be available for occasional days through the coming fall and winter. Applications are available at the Senior Center at 106 Wessinger Street, Arlee, 59821,or call (406) 726-3213 any time between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday or

Tickets are available $1 each for chances on a drawing to be held June 14 during the second Saturday dinner. The items in the drawing are the following: from the Blackfoot Telephone annual meeting there is a large outdoor thermometer and a bright colored red general purpose carry bag; in addition, the center is offering chances on a $20 meal ticket and Cherie Garcelon donated two Arlee 2014 Butter Cup Run T-shirts, sizes medium and extra large.
Come by the center this week on Wednesday or Friday during the mornings, or for lunch either day, to buy a ticket to win these items. Or have dinner with us on Saturday, June 14, at 6 p.m. You will enjoy a good dinner, get to visit with friends and watch the drawing to see who the winners are. You could be one of the lucky ones.
The Arlee Senior Center serves hot meals at noon each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
A delicious hot dinner is served at 6 p.m. on the second and fourthvSaturday evenings of each month.

• Wednesday, June 11: Polish sausage w/sauerkraut, veggie tray, fruit, fried potatoes and bread pudding
• Saturday, June 14: chicken teriyaki kabobs, baked potato, green salad, buns, and ice cream sundaes
• Monday, June 16: beef and broccoli with rice, salad, fruit, buns, and cake
• Wednesday, June 18: fried chicken, potatoes and gravy, vegetable, sliced cucumbers, rhubarb crisp
• Friday, June 20: barbecu pork, macaroni salad, relish tray, fruit and cake
• Monday, June 23: Cobb salad with chicken, bacon and boiled eggs, buns, fruit, and brownies
• Wednesday, June 25: pork chow mien, Chinese noodles, vegetables, honey-lime fruit, buns and cookies
• Friday, June 27: spaghetti with meat sauce, green salad, garlic toast and yogurt crunch
• Saturday, June 28: baked ham, scalloped potatoes, buttered carrots, fruit and mandarin orange cake
• Monday, June 30: sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, cucumber salad, peaches and cupcakes
