POLSON — I must be getting old. The guys at the golf course asked me to name an actress I would like to be stuck in an elevator with. I told them the one who knows how to fix elevators.
On Saturday, June 14, there will be a celebration of life for Eddie Schumacher at the Elks Club starting at 1 p.m. Gracie and family would love it if you would join them. They hope to see you all there and please bring a story or fond memory of Eddie with you.
The lunch menu for the coming week will feature:
• Thursday, June 5: ham slices with sweet potatoes
• Friday, June 6: beef noodle soup and tuna sandwich
• Monday, June 8: beef tips over noodles
• Tuesday, June 9: Manwiches with ranch potato wedges
• Wednesday, June 10: sausage gravy over biscuits
The toenail clinic will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-noon.
The veterans’ representative will be here also on Wednesday from 1-3 p.m.
The safe driving class is on June 17 from 9-11:30 a.m. with a break for lunch and resuming from 1-2:30 p.m. There have been only six signed up so far so there’s still plenty of room.
The monthly board meeting is on June 13, Friday. (Oh no.)
Bingo is played every Friday night at 7 p.m.
