DAYTON — Tasters Guild International Wine Competition recently announced that Mission Mountain Winery Merlot Reserve 2010 and Monster Red 2010 were awarded Gold Medals. This makes seven consecutive vintages that the Dayton winery’s Merlot Reserve has taken gold medals in international competitions. The Monster Red has also accumulated an impressive track record, having been awarded silver or gold in international competitions ever since it began production in 1999.
