RONAN - The Chiefs and Maidens toughed it out on the courts Tuesday as both boys and girls dropped the ball to Loyola-Sacred Heart, winning only one match between the boys and girls. Doubles team Sam Friedlander and Julia Matkovich logged the lone win, defeating their opponents 7-5, 6-1.
The Chiefs and Maidens will send the girls to Eureka May 8 and both teams will compete at the Missoula Tournament May 10.
