Troy visit cut short for Chiefs and Maidens
TROY – Ronan’s Chiefs and Maidens battled rain in Troy on Tuesday, stopping game play on the tennis courts but not before the Chiefs recorded a 3-1 win over the Trojans. The Maidens were unable to finish matches and had to call it good at 1-2, Troy.
Chief’s doubles teams Daniel Aylesworth/Fisher Shima and Ethan Blevins/Tommy Pieronchini both won their matches. Colton Roulier grabbed a win in singles for Ronan. Maiden Shannon Saint recorded the only match win for the girls.
The Chiefs and Maidens will meet the Vikings and Valkyries at the net in Bigfork on April 24 and then will compete at the Libby Invitational April 26.
