The 35th annual Ronan Chamber of Commerce Ag Community Appreciation Banquet saw the celebration of long years of service by several key people.
Potato farmers Roger and Kathy Starkel were honored as producers of the year. Community members sang “Happy Birthday” to farmer Bill Hocker, who turned 90 earlier in the month. Retiring emcee Wayne Fuchs gave his last show. Montana State University Lake County Extension Agent Jack Stivers described the evening as a great night of fun.
