ARLEE — A busy calendar is shaping up for the Arlee Senior Center this April. We have scheduled a spring brunch on Saturday April 5, from 9 -11 a.m. Everyone is invited, so bring your family, tell your friends and neighbors, and come to the Senior Center for an eggs with bacon, pancakes, fruit and yogurt, and coffee cake brunch.

The Lake County Council on Aging sends out the “Foot Lady” to each Senior Center once a month. Jane will be at the Arlee Senior Center on Friday, April 14. Please call (406) 726-3213 to set up an appointment anytime from 10:30-noon. This way Jane can know she has clients waiting for her. This free foot care is especially important for individuals with a history of diabetes and diabetic neuropathy in their feet, and to monitor fluid build up in the lower extremities which can develop and may be related to heart problems.

Anyone is welcome; you do not need to be a senior citizen or a member of the center. If you need help trimming your toenails, give that number a ring and schedule a time.

Arlee 1 Precinct Chief Judge, Anne Stewart, is in need of election judges for the school trustee election in May, the primary election in June, and the general election in November this fall. Each of these elections will occur on the first Tuesday of the indicated months. Training will be held during April for all individuals willing to take part in this essential process at the grass roots level of our democratic society. Please give it some serious thought, and call Anne Stewart, at (406) 726-3448 or (406) 544-9651, to sign up.

The center serves hot meals at noon on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, and on the second and fourth Saturday dinner is served at 6 p.m.
