MISSOULA — Eight-year-old swimmer Hannah Simpson was the lone qualifier to represent the Flathead Lake Monsters at State in their inaugural year. On Friday, Simpson competed in the Montana State Championship State Swim Meet held at the University of Montana Griz pool, placing 33rd in the 25-yard backstroke with a time of 24.54.
