CHARLO – Every elementary classroom in the Charlo school district will be able to complete a class project this year thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor who pledged $2,450.
Superintendent Thom Peck said the donor pledged to come to the school each Thursday for seven weeks, and write a check for $350 that will go toward a project for each classroom.
“They strongly believe in Charlo and Charlo kids and teachers,” Peck said. “This was their way of paying it forward.”
The donation comes at a time of year when students are starting to take field trips and participate in springtime activities and might help pay for some of those activities, Peck said.
