Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases June 1-7:
Evelyn Gonzalez, 32, pleaded no contest to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. If Gonzalez provides proof of a valid driver’s license, the two days of jail will be waived.
Tory J. Bick, 24, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 166 suspended.
Chad Tyson Brown, 34, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $50 plus $85 in court costs.
Alan James Prindel, 32, pleaded no contest to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. Prindel received credit for 10 days served. Prindel also pleaded no contest to theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. He received credit for 10 days served. Jacob Travis, 36, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Travis also pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
Clinton James Chowning, 42, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
Jolene Kaye Mayfair, 37, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Mayfair also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
