CHARLO - The Vikings had a tough week out as they dropped two games. On Friday, Charlo hosted Superior in a showdown that pitted 14C number-two ranked Vikings against the number-one ranked Bobcats. The Vikings struggled to get anything through the net and fell to the Bobcats 44-76. Dalton Delaney netted 12 points for the Vikings and Jade Smith put up 11.
Saturday brought the Vikings to Philipsburg to take on the Granite Prospectors, which left the Vikings loading the bus home with another loss for the week, 48-59. Kail Pope led his team with 16 points while Tristan Santee and Dalton Delaney each added 12.
The Vikings will finish up their regular season hosting Hot Springs Feb. 14 and then onto Arlee Feb. 15.
