STEVENSVILLE – The Pirates toughed out the week stumbling twice on the court. On Thursday in Stevensville, Pirate Andrew Weltz put up 18 points for his team but the Pirates failed to add much more as they fell 48-64 to the Yellowjackets.
Friday Polson hosted Frenchtown and held close the first two quarters but with the Broncs exploding under the net in the second half the Pirates left with a 62-76 loss. Cedrick Smith led the Pirates with 21 points while Weltz added 13.
The Pirates will host Eureka Feb. 6 and Columbia Falls Feb. 8.
