RONAN — K. William Harvey Elementary School will use a $500 grant made through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program to promote math and science education.
“We’ll buy apps for our iPads and buy things for science night,” Principal Ted Madden said. The purchases help make the two subjects a bit more fun, he said.
The grants were made through local Town Pump stations that had to meet stringent eligibility criteria, according to an ExxonMobil press release.
“I think it’s a great program for the school and the communities,” Town Pump District Manager Leslie Goss said.
The Educational Alliance program has sent more than $33,500 to Town Pump-sponsored schools in Montana.
“Through our commitment to excellence we can continue our long running tradition of being of service and giving back to our community,” Town Pump Corporate office said in a press release.
