RONAN – The Maidens have been on a roll. grabbing two wins with ease. On Thursday the Maidens took to the court in Plains, taking down the Trotters 43-38. Raymi Clairmont and Aspen Jore each netted 11 points for the Maidens.
Friday the fans wore yellow in a very special tribute game honoring Coach Shelly Buhr’s niece, Jordan, who is fighting a battle of her own, Ewings Sarcoma cancer. With the fighting spirit being generated throughout the Ronan gym, the Maidens secured their win in a big way over Mission 51-10. Lee Camel led her team with 15 points and Kendra Starkel added 11. The Mission Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs as well as their fans also joined in the tribute by wearing yellow.
The Maidens will take on Florence at home Friday, Jan. 24 and will make the long haul up to Eureka Saturday, Jan. 25.
