Pirates and Chiefs compete at Missoula Sentinel’s Jug Beck

MISSOULA – The Pirates and Chiefs tried their might on the mats at the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic Friday and Saturday in the Sentinel-hosted invitational, boasting 31 teams from Montana, Idaho, and Washington. Polson placed 23rd with a team score of 44 and Ronan took the 30 spot, team score 12.5.
Three Pirates grabbed top seven spots with Thunder Morales taking sixth at the 106 weight class, Carlos Quinones placing seventh at 126, and Tel Motichka also taking seventh at 170 pounds.
The Pirates will host Frenchtown Friday, Jan. 24 and then will head to Libby Saturday, Jan. 25. The Chiefs will be in Eureka Thursday, Jan. 23 and Plains Friday, Jan. 24.
