POLSON— Polson High School student Tel Motichka, 17, has been accepted to the prestigious U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
A talented athlete, Motichka lettered in track, cross-country and wrestling at Polson High. Outside of school, he served for several years in his local 4-H club, most recently as the group’s president.
Motichka was one of 36 Montana students nominated by Tester to the nation’s military service academies based on their academic achievement, leadership, community service and participation in extracurricular activities.
