PABLO – Two Eagle River’s Eagles came away with a split after a grabbing a win and taking a loss over the last week. On Tuesday the Eagles dominated St. Regis, 55-37. After nearly doubling the Tigers’ score in the first half, the Eagles held tight and grabbed the win. Eagle DaShane Hewankorn led his team with 19 points. Byron Carpenter and Chino Lira also lent a hand adding a combined 17; Carpenter with nine, and Lira with eight.
The Eagles suffered a tumble at Superior 32-76 on Saturday. Robert Jansen netted 10 points for Two Eagle while Byron Carpenter rustled up seven.
Two Eagle River will host Valley Christian Friday, Jan. 17 and then head to Arlee Saturday, Jan. 18.
