DRUMMOND – The Arlee Scarlets basketball team toughed out their opening weekend dropping both games in Drummond’s Tip-off tournament.
In Friday’s first game Arlee dropped the ball to Drummond 34-59. Scarlet Violet Pablo led the Scarlets with 12 points and Alicia Camel came away with eight.
Saturday placed the Scarlets on the court with Seeley-Swan with the Scarlets taking the 46-60 defeat.
Arlee’s Whitney Malatare nailed four three-pointers adding to her 24 points tallied for the Scarlets. Violet Pablo added 12 points for her team.
The Scarlets will host Hot Springs Dec. 19 and Superior Dec. 20.
