RONAN – Polson picked up a couple of bruises in the Ronan/Polson hosted Northwestern A – Southwestern A tip-off tourney.
Friday’s game one in Ronan brought the Pirates to their knees in the 30-74 contest against the Dillon Beavers. Pirate Cedrick Smith led his team scoring a third of the Pirates score with 10.
Bringing it into OT on Saturday, the Pirates fell to Anaconda 54-60 despite Pirate Andrew Weltz putting up 24 points to lead his team.
The Pirates will head to Kalispell Dec. 19 and return home to host Hamilton Dec. 21.
