POLSON — Rows of lighted candy canes, multicolored lighted Christmas trees, Santa in his airplane, deer, a horse and buggy and a snowman are just some of the decorations on Monica and Maurice Mills’ lawn on First Street E.
Monica said she has always decorated their lawn.
Drive by before Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and the Mills’ lawn will be dressed for the season.
Monica’s favorites are Halloween and Christmas because “I like seeing the little kids.” This year 283 trick or treaters came knocking at their door.
“I enjoy fixing (the lawn) up,” she said. “I have done it for years.”
