HAMILTON — Maiden pitcher Bethany Colman was on fire Thursday as Ronan shut down Southwestern A foe Hamilton in a nonconference softball matchup. The Lady Broncs only managed three hits off Colman, sending Ronan to a 7-1 win.
It was the second time this season the teams had met; the first time, Ronan lost 12-2. The Maidens weren’t about to let that happen again, driving in four runs in the third inning and three in the fourth.
McKenzie Dalmas and Payge Delaurenti both were 2-for-4, while Jasmine Bostwick added a double.
The Maidens played neighboring Mission-Arlee-Charlo in St. Ignatius Tuesday before hosting Plains at 6 p.m. Thursday.
