RONAN — Glacier View School honored local veterans and their families on Veterans Day with an inspiring program under the direction of teacher Karen Sharp.
A Power Point presentation was presented by guest speaker Sgt. Chuck Lewis, USMC veteran, who walked more than 3,500 miles from Washington State to Washington, D.C. honoring the fallen veterans of our country. His story can be found at www.WalkingForTheFallen.com.
After the program, the students served a lunch of lasagna, sweet corn, salad, garlic bread, drink, pie and ice cream to more than 80 guests. The delicious meal was prepared by the Home and School leader, Sarey Robinson and her helpers from the Ronan Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
