WHITEFISH – The Polson Pirates couldn’t get anything going their way in Friday’s 7-26 football game against Whitefish.
“We struggled offensively,” Coach Scott Wilson said. “Whitefish converted on several fourth downs which kept long drives going.”
Wyatt Jenson led the Pirates with nine tackles and sophomore Jacob Clairmont rushed 37 yards on eight carries. QB senior Andrew Weltz was 9-20 for 117 yards with a touchdown.
The Pirates will host Libby Oct. 11.
