DEER LODGE — The Ronan Maidens fought on the volleyball court taking Deer Lodge to five sets Thursday, but came up short in the 2-3 loss.
Kendra Starkel led at the serve line with 11 aces. Danielle Richwine worked it out defensively with 33 digs and Alaina Madsen showed her fighting spirit with 11 kills and 28 digs of her own.
The Maidens have an enormous week ahead hosting Troy Oct. 11 and Thompson Falls Oct. 12.
The girls take their game on the road with matches against Florence Oct. 15 and Loyola Oct. 17.
