Lady Pirates battle through dual 5-game losses

POLSON – The Lady Pirates were outscored by Whitefish Tuesday, taking it to five games in the 2-3 loss. With set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 12-15, Polson battled it out on their own court. The Lady Pirates took the first two sets but couldn’t keep the flame aglow in the final three.
Lady Pirate Chloie Huerta led her team in kills with 18 while Jaiden Thoth had 18 digs. Kaelen Wall threw down at the serve line with five aces.
Polson took to the Loyola court in Missoula Saturday ending in another five set, 2-3 loss for the Lady Pirates.
Jaiden Toth led the Lady Pirates serving up five of Polson’s seven aces and has all 23 Lady Pirate assists.
Polson brings Stevensville to their home court Oct. 3.
