PHILIPSBURG — Vikings took the lead and kept it in Friday’s 68-40 game against Granite, pushing Charlo to a 3-0 record in conference.
Charlo senior Jacen Peterson had 13 tackles with a fumble recovery that resulted in a 44-yard touchdown. Peterson saw the end zone three times.
Quarterback sophomore Michael Delaney was 16-18 in passing for 171 yards with a touchdown.
“Player of the game” went to senior Tyler Delaney, who rushed 233 yards on 14 carries with three touchdowns. He also had two kickoff returns for 46 yards.
Vikings will have the next week off but hope to continue the fire in Darby Sept. 27.
