ARLEE – Charlo’s Lady Vikings volleyball team grabbed a win in three sets on Thursday when they faced the Scarlets in Arlee.
Both teams fought hard, but in the end the Lady Vikings came home with the victory.
Charlo senior Aspen Runkel dominated on the court with three aces, 19 digs, eight kills, and three blocks.
Lady Pirates head coach Sheryl Kain was happy with how the girls played.
“The girls are understanding their roles and they are still learning how to trust each other,” Kain said. “Once we get the trust I think they will realize how much easier the game will be for them.”
Charlo will face Noxon at home Sept. 14 and Arlee will host Superior Sept. 19.
