The 46-credit curriculum became effective this fall, and includes a two-credit Electronic Health Records course offered during the spring quarter. The EHR course is an additional course to four other medical office courses required to complete the certificate.
Students completing the Medical Office Clerk Certificate will be prepared for office positions in Tribal Health, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. These positions are expected to increase both in Montana and nationally.
