PABLO – Before scattered thunderstorms forced people inside on Saturday afternoon, families enjoyed a few hours of music and artwork produced by local artisans at the People’s Center.
“We thought we’d have a family fun day to thank everyone for supporting us this year,” education director for the center Marie Torosian said.
Fry bread, beadery, and artwork were on display and for sale. Virginia Nygaard arrived early to set up her display of woven pine-straw baskets.
“I didn’t know how crowded it would be,” Nygaard said.
The gathering was small, but cozy, with plenty of fun and delicious food. Music by Charles Fyant, Audrey Blood, and A Living Sacrifice kicked the afternoon off. Tunes played by Krysti, Mark, and Ian Reichman followed.
