This summer the Dayton Presbyterian Church will turn 100 years old. An old-fashioned community ice cream social is planned for Saturday, June 25 and a special commemorative service is planned for Sunday, June 26. Notices will go out later.
Part of the weekend's events will be a display of photographs and stories relating to the history of the church and the community of Dayton.
We are looking for old photographs, pictures, newspapers etc. of the Dayton area to either copy or borrow for this display. Also, if anyone has a unique story that involves the Dayton Church please contact us at 849-6628 or 849-5391.
