RONAN — Bring on the cows and cakes — the Lake County 4-H Fair is about to begin.
Shooting sports steps up to the plate Saturday, July 27 at 9 a.m. sharp at the fairgrounds in Ronan, followed Sunday by the shotgun competition at Big Sky Sporting Clays.
On Monday, July 29, 4-H participants and their horses take the stage beginning at 10 a.m. In the afternoon, participants’ projects will be judged by an interview process. Winners and projects will be on display throughout the week.
From Tuesday through Saturday, July 30 through Aug.4, showmanship and judging continues for all creatures great and small.
As the fair winds down, Pioneer Day runs concurrent from Friday through Sunday, Aug. 2-4, with a rodeo each day and more activities for families.
