Ronan tennis teams go 1-3 on Bitterroot trip Saturday

CORVALLIS – The Ronan tennis team went 1-4 during dual matches at Stevensville and Corvallis Saturday.
The team first faced off against Stevensville, where the Maidens earned the only Ronan victory of the day, 5-2. The Chiefs fell just shy of a victory, losing 4-3.
Ronan then matched up with Corvallis during the afternoon on Saturday. The Blue Devils proved to be too much as they defeated both the Chiefs and Maidens 6-1.
The girls’ only victory came when Darian Blixt Leo and Sarah Anderson defeated Samantha Stoker and Lacey Allsop, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
In the boys’ singles, Daneil Aylesworth took down Josh Venema for the Chiefs’ only win against the Blue Devils.
